"We are done."
It was a lot of running around today for Brian and John...counting panels and picking up another door. When they returned to Pastor Giordani's home they picked up the rest of the team and drove out into the country to bless the last house. (In the morning Sonya and Pastor Giordani gave the blessing at the other home.)
A thunderstorm hit just as the team arrived at the home so John hung the door while Poppy held an umbrella in the downpour. Inside the home they met the Mom and one of her three boys. Praying and blessing her home brought smiles to her face and gratitude from her lips to God and the team. These are lives that are changed forever...in a beautiful, tangible way. It has a ripple effect throughout the entire community.
It was an "interesting" journey back home through the streams that were now little rivers and roads that were now fast moving streams. It sounds like it was another Haiti-type-adventure that they enjoyed and I am thankful I missed out on. :)
Tomorrow morning the team packs and journeys to Port au Prince and will spend their last night at Walls Guest House.
A Homecoming is just around the bend.
