Lent this year is like none other

Beautiful, intimate, purposeful,

painful, lonely, shameful

It's as though I am laid bare,

my inner being lies

naked

before the eyes of God.

He has exposed so much

yet I feel safe with Him.

Everyone

and

everything else

leaves me empty

of what I truly need

He alone meets my need

I know this

God help me live it!
